Increase epilepsy awareness throughout the Heart of Wisconsin by joining us at Schwoegler's (444 Grand Canyon Drive, Madison) for our annual Bowl For Epilepsy on Sunday, April 28th, from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM!
To register for this event, please click on the "Start Fundraising" button. You'll then be directed to create your fundraiser page on EveryDayHero for this event; an email account is necessary to create your page. You can then customize your fundraising page by setting your fundraising goal, uploading a profile photo, and sharing your story. From there you can then create a team to invite others to join you, or join an existing team. It's not necessary to join or create a team, although independent bowlers will be assigned to a lane with other independent bowlers. All registered bowlers can then invite others to sponsor them by sharing their page's link to spread the word. There is no cost to you to participate, although we do ask that you raise a minimum of $15 to offset the cost of lane and shoe rental (bowlers bowl 3 games).
Recruit your friends, family members and co-workers by letting them know that you are taking part in an annual event that will assist people impacted by seizures and epilepsy as they learn to cope and overcome the 4th most common neurological condition.
The Epilepsy Foundation provides individual and family counseling, daily living skills training, support groups, social and recreational activities, Summer Camp for Kids, and emergency medications.
We teach seizure recognition and first aid to first responders, school personnel and school-aged kids, human service professionals and employers.
